About Maintenance and Renovation

The Division of Maintenance and Renovation is mainly responsible for campus building projects, maintenance and renovation of existing facilities and buildings, mechanical and electrical systems, and fire engineering.

For new campus building projects, the division is responsible for preliminary planning, budgeting, outsourcing, tender inviting, supervision, inspection, and accrediting projects. For renovation and maintenance jobs, the division initiates projects and helps campus academic departments to identify issues and problems and conducts necessary steps for jobs to be done.

The division is also responsible for the renovation and maintenance of plumbing, electrician, mechanical works, air-conditioning systems, elevators, fire hydrants, boilers, electricity generators, and quality control of engineering projects. Public safety inspections of campus buildings and improvement projects on building a barrier-free campus are also implemented by the Division.
